Catholic Pilgrimage

Inspiration tours, a Christian Company operated by the successors of the very first Church is devoted to providing the full spiritual satisfaction for every single pilgrimage as we offer the main ‘highlights’ special to Catholic groups:

We ensure that a pious Christian guide is appointed on the tour, in which his heartfelt recites will enrich group’s spiritual needs.

An unforgettable Mass are daily arranged all over Catholic Sanctuaries, where the leading priest will recite his prayers.

The pilgrimage will gather near Christ Tomb in a Solemn Entry, this twelfth century ceremony commemorates the entry into the Tomb by the Crusader leader Godfrey de Bouillon, taking the title of the Defender of the Holy Sepulcher.

Next day early morning the pilgrims will leave hotel towards the old city to attend High Mass by the Sepulchre at 6.30 a.m. This will be in the group’s own language and held by the leading priest.

One of the main hightlights is the “Via Dolorosa” or “Via Crucis” which designates a stretch of road between the Antonia fortress and Golgotha, along which Jesus Christ walked bowed under the weight of the Cross. As with his disciples long ago, today Jesus Christ invites us to go with him on a life’s journey to glory. Those who accept the invitation find that the path begins on the road to Calvary: “Take up your cross and follow me.”

The way of the Cross is the road which leads to Paradise; it is the sure way to holiness.
The Passion of Christ is the greatest and most stupendous work of Divine Love.

St. Paul of the Cross

The Holy Hour in Gethsemane, the group will attend a special service in The Holy Hour at 8 pm on Thursday nights in the Church of All Nations in Gethsemane, commemorating Christ’s Agony in the Garden before his betrayal.

There He said to His Apostles: “My soul is sorrowful even unto death. Stay ye here and watch with Me.” Later He said to them: “Could ye not watch one hour with Me? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.”

Matt. 26:38, 40, 41

We can specially arrange for groups to meet with the Latin Patriarch, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church in the Holy Land. A meeting with His Beatitude is an interesting opportunity.

The Christian community in the Holy Land is an integral part of keeping Christianity alive in the land of Christ’s birth, His ministry and Resurrection. For this reason, we often try to arrange a meeting with a local parish for liturgy and a blessed meal with your fellow believers.
